And yet, once we’ve been welcomed into the club and have found someone with whom we can be fully and utterly ourselves, with whom we share everything, with whom life is simply good — we take it for granted. In fact, sometimes we are so eager for that thrill of danger, of uncertainty, of desire, that we’ll search for and create problems where there are none. It’s as though our brains can’t comprehend that something can simply work, and that happiness is not just a wisp of smoke we’re meant to perpetually chase and never attain.

Today I went to school for a thesis meeting. I arrived in Taft at 8AM so I got my EAF first before meeting with my thesismates. I saw Vic in line for the manual adjustment so we hung out for a while since my thesismates weren’t around yet anyway. At around 9:30, I met up with B1 at CBTL, UM. Mitch arrived a few minutes later.

After the thesis meeting, Vic joined us. We had lunch at Big Better Burgers. At 12, Mitch and I left for my dentist’s clinic at Cash & Carry to have my braces adjusted. We went to MOA after to look for the talahiban that we need for our thesis as location, but we couldn’t find it. When we were too tired to keep looking, we went our separate ways and went home.

When I got home, I changed clothes then headed out again. My brother and I went to Montessori to hang out with people. We also waited for Louise there to give our tshirt stubs for TPKK. The Make Believe people finished their preparations for the day at 7PM so we all headed to Belve to watch the ball game. After a few minutes “Unknown” calls my cellphone. Apparently, it’s Gamo. He called to ask if I wanted to hang out and walk around with him and Raph. I was up for it so I met up with them at the church.

Raph arrived with his bike. Haha! But he left it at the amphitheater while we walked around. We went to Nomads. This child didn’t have money. Raph and Gamo ended up treating me. Yehey. Beer and pizza. It was my first time at Nomads. We were the only young ones there. Haha. WE ARE YOUUUUNGGG.

After Nomads, we went back to the amphitheater to check on Raph’s bike. It was still there, but we decided to leave it at Gamo’s house instead. After that, we went to Louise’s so that Raph can register also for TPKK. Yay! Once Raph finished registering, we continued our walk and ended up at Guada Park. We tried the swings, but it couldn’t handle the three of us. Haha, scary. After a while, we headed over to Reg’s house. She just got home from the province. We spent quite a while just talking to her and convincing her to walk around with us. It was fun. After saying goodbye to Reg, we went back to Gamo’s house then Gamo took us home. Raph first.
